We raise Miniature American Shepherds, better known as Miniature Australian Shepherds, even better known as Aussies or Miniaussies.

Puppies will be eligible to be registered with the AKC as Miniature American Shepherds.
Puppies are ready to go home at 8 weeks of age. Until then we keep pretty busy raising them within our family structure. They come in and out of the house, after being whelped in a nice little kennel cottage complete with heat and air conditioning.
The placing of a puppy in a home will always include a contract with some practical agreements between us. We carefully consider potential homes and use the Volhard Puppy Aptitude Test to help match puppies with families.
Puppies range from $700 to $850 and are eligible for registration with the AKC as Miniature American Shepherds.

Parents:
Dam, "Blue", red merle with blue eyes. Born Christmas Day xxxx, 3 years old. This is Blue's first litter. She weighs 35 pounds and stands 18" tall. Blue is an endearing gal who is very intelligent with strong connections to the family.
Sire, "Bowen", black tri. He is 1 and 1/2 years old and this is the second litter he has sired. Bowen is a handsome black tri; a wonderful compliment to Blue. He is playful and outgoing and recently received his Canine Good Citizen title. He weighs around 40 pounds and stands " tall.
Health:
At 2 or 3 days of age, the puppies' tails were docked and dews removed by the vet. They have been receiving regular deworming treatments and will continue to receive those until placed in a home. First vaccinations will be given by the vet.
The parents are both health screened. Blue has been evaluated by the OFA and received a rating of "Excellent" for her hips. Bowen (as he is not yet 2 years old) had the preliminary evaluation done by the OFA. He received a "Good" for his hips.
